Job summary

Alfa Laval seeks an Accountant to verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts across AP, AR and GL, ensuring accuracy and alignment with reporting schedules. You will contribute to continuous improvements and collaborate with Shared Service Center personnel and Local Finance teams.

Key tasks include VAT return preparation, VAT submission support, bank reconciliations, payroll postings, month-end accruals and year-end audit support.

Qualifications

• Experience in verifying and posting accounts across AP, AR and GL.
• Knowledge of VAT filing and audit support processes.
• Familiarity with IFRS16 schedules and intercompany invoicing.
• Ability to coordinate with finance SSC and local finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts within area of responsibility.
• Prepare VAT return files and assist VAT submission.
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations and payroll postings.
• Post month-end accruals and support year-end audit queries.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in line with schedules.
