Job description

The Team:

The Sales Team’s mission is to ensure that we build an amazing product each year by providing a great selection of offers to our members on the app, including dining, beauty, fitness, leisure, entertainment, retail, and services. We build long-lasting relationships with our merchant partners to ensure successful and ongoing collaborations and have offers available on the app that cater to any taste and occasion all year round. Our team actively seeks out new projects, developments, and venues opening across Jeddah to secure their participation on the app.

As an Account Manager - Sales you will:

  1. Hunt for new business targeting the F&B, Leisure, Entertainment, Beauty & Fitness industries.
  2. Manage sales cycles from prospecting to closing.
  3. Manage accounts in all assigned territories with a view to securing merchant participation, retention, advertising revenue, and driving redemptions.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with merchant partners and support them throughout the year with tactical promotions.
  5. Utilize available data effectively to retain merchants year on year.
  6. Communicate and sell new products and initiatives to the merchant base.
  7. Prepare various status reports, including daily activity, closings, follow-ups, and adherence to KPIs.
  8. Perform in-trade compliance checks.
  9. Monitor market and competitor activities.

What we're looking for:

  1. 5+ years of sales experience in fast-paced industries, preferably hospitality, retail, or FMCG.
  2. A good track record of past employment.
  3. Familiarity with your territory’s business environment, trends, and key contacts (“who is who”).
  4. Own transportation is required.
  5. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  6. Fluency in Arabic and English; additional languages are a plus.
  7. Pre-existing merchant relationships are preferable.
