We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join our commercial team in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as an Account Manager.
This role is responsible for delivering the revenue budget for the prescribed portfolio of accounts. Gain maximum value for the airline by negotiating Commercial Agreements between the two parties. Engage in joint sales and marketing activities to grow the level and quality of QR revenue sold through these partners and drive efficiencies in the distribution processes.
Role Accountabilities:
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of QR sales strategy to maximize revenue opportunities, reduce costs, and promote channel shift.
- Introduce PLBs where appropriate.
- Review QR sales data with the account portfolio to drive revenue and seek tactical opportunities.
- Submit monthly sales call plans and weekly sales reports; update trade and corporate partners about QR's products and services.
- Provide management with market intelligence on QR's strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities, including events and recommended changes with proper justification.
- Acquire sales leads and increase awareness of QR products; distribute marketing materials like timetables and giveaways.
- Enhance QR visibility by displaying marketing materials and ensuring publicity through media coverage in coordination with SM and H.O. Marketing Department.
- Advise on upcoming product developments and discuss special promotions.
- Plan selling activities in assigned areas to ensure optimal revenues.
- Lead discussions on PLBs with accounts.
- Recommend pricing requests from corporates/trade and manage individual budgets.
- Manage accounts and key customers effectively; plan sales calls, submit reports, and update partners about QR's offerings.
- Research and report on competitor airline schedules, fares, events, and potential concerns, recommending corrective actions.
- Perform other related duties as directed by the Head of Department.
- Represent the organization at trade exhibitions and events.
- Develop and maintain good relations with the Travel Trade, government entities, embassies, and commercial houses.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers via meetings, calls, and emails; visit potential customers to prospect for new business.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Professional experience in a multicultural environment with a diverse range of supply partners, preferably in the airline industry.
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience working in a target-driven, pressurized environment.
