Job description

We are recruiting for an Account Manager role based in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for delivering the revenue budget for the prescribed portfolio of accounts. Gain maximum value for the airline by negotiating Commercial Agreements between the two parties. Engage in joint sales and marketing activities to grow the level and quality of QR revenue sold through these partners and drive efficiencies in the distribution processes.

Role Accountabilities
  1. Contribute to the formulation and implementation of QR sales strategy to maximize revenue opportunities, reduce costs, and generate channel shift.
  2. Introduce PLBs where appropriate.
  3. Review QR sales data with the account portfolio to drive revenue and seek tactical opportunities.
  4. Submit monthly sales call plans and weekly sales reports; update trade and corporate partners about QR’s products and services.
  5. Provide management with market intelligence on QR’s strengths, weaknesses, threats, opportunities, and events; recommend changes with proper justification.
  6. Acquire sales leads and increase awareness of QR products; distribute marketing materials like timetables and giveaways.
  7. Increase QR visibility by displaying marketing materials and ensuring publicity through media coverage, in coordination with SM and H.O. Marketing Department.
  8. Advise on upcoming product developments and discuss special promotions.
  9. Plan selling activities for assigned areas to ensure maximum revenues.
  10. Lead discussions on PLBs with accounts.
  11. Recommend pricing requests from corporates/trade and manage individual budgets.
  12. Manage accounts and key customers effectively; plan sales calls, submit reports, and update partners about QR’s offerings.
  13. Research and report on other airline schedules, fares, events, and concerns; recommend corrective actions.
  14. Perform other duties as directed by the Head of Department.
  15. Represent the organization at trade exhibitions and events.
  16. Develop and maintain good relations with the travel trade, government, embassies, and commercial houses.
  17. Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers through meetings, calls, and emails; prospect for new business.

To be successful in this role you will need
