A leading company in the specialty chemicals sector seeks a Technical Sales Representative to enhance customer satisfaction and manage sales activities for nonalcoholic beverages and food industries. Candidates should have a degree in Chemical Engineering or Science and 3-5 years of relevant experience. The role involves client interaction, sales proposal development, and market analysis, providing ample opportunities for professional growth.
To plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts or activities. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of product and service delivery.
1-Make technical sales calls to new and existing clients, Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
2-Schedule sales activity, prepare sales action plans and strategies, Develop technical sales proposals, Prepare and present sales contracts
3-Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
4-Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports
5-Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships follow up on sales activity
6-Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development(by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifying sales opportunities)
7-Updates job knowledge (Technical side + selling skills) by studying new product descriptions and new techniques; participating in educational opportunities.
8-Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations.
9-Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
10-Maintains and improves quality results by following standards; recommends improved policies and procedures.
11-Customers categorize nonalcoholic beverages, processed food & Dairy.
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Bachelor's degree Science (Chemistry Division)
3-5 years in the food& beverage industry
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken).
Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask while being flexible with changing demands.
Self-starter and results-oriented individual with the confidence to take risks and partner with business leaders as required
High sense of drive and urgency with a positive outlook. Ability to implement problem-solving techniques to resolve customer issues and take corrective action.
