The Account Executive is responsible for building Enterprise level client relationships within the market. Individuals who excel at this job have the ability to prospect (via email, phone, & partner ecosystem), develop, and close business in a timely manner while focusing on the clients’ requirements. The AE must have the confidence and ability to negotiate and close agreements with clients and support new customers through our onboarding process.

AS AN ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, YOU WILL:
  1. Achieve sales quotas for allocated accounts on a quarterly and annual basis by developing a sales strategy in the allocated territory with a target prospect list, and a regional sales plan.
  2. Develop marketing plans with the marketing team to drive revenue growth.
  3. Be the trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future IT roadmap to drive the Snowflake solution within the marketplace.
  4. Prospect qualification and the development of new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams.
  5. Arrange and conduct initial Executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings.
  6. Manage the sales process and close opportunities.
  7. Ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and drive additional revenue streams.
  8. Be familiar with a solution-based approach to selling, have experience managing a complex sales process, and possess excellent presentation and listening skills, organization, and contact management capabilities.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:
  1. 5-10+ years of full cycle sales experience selling software or cloud-based applications to the mid-market.
  2. Emphasis on cloud, databases, business intelligence software, data warehousing, SaaS is desired.
  3. Experience hitting quota of $1m+ of ARR per year and averaging 8+ face-to-face meetings per week.
  4. A track record of success in driving consistent activity, pipeline development, and quota achievement.
  5. Experience determining customer requirements and presenting appropriate solutions.
  6. Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication (native level), presentation, and relationship management skills.
  8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  9. BA / BS required.
