WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As an Account Director in the CSM Middle East team, you'll work on major accounts across different sports and projects. Your responsibilities include managing client relationships, developing sponsorship strategies, activation planning, and supporting other client accounts with your expertise in sports and entertainment.

You will be based in our KSA offices with flexible working options, collaborating with colleagues across the Middle East and globally. Travel between UAE, KSA, and other regions may be required. You will report to an Associate Director with a dotted line to a Regional Managing Director and will have direct reports.

Your key responsibilities include:

Strategic Account Management

  • Managing client relationships and day-to-day interactions
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Leading strategy updates and activation planning
  • Conducting meetings and managing project timelines and budgets
  • Overseeing internal processes and creative development
  • Managing rights delivery, event execution, digital strategies, PR, and guest management
  • Participating in client meetings and collaborating across teams
  • Line managing account team members

Strategy & Consultancy

  • Developing and delivering strategic work for clients
  • Providing consultancy across client accounts
  • Supporting new business initiatives and early-stage client work
  • Collaborating with the global CSM S&C team

Administration

  • Leading client meetings and ensuring action completion
  • Creating presentations and managing client reporting
  • Setting and evaluating KPIs

General

  • Proactive client management and reliability
  • Effective people and administrative skills
  • Enthusiasm for sports, marketing, and strategy
  • Building strong internal and external relationships
  • Contributing to agency new business and participating in events

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED

  • University graduate
  • Fluent in English; Arabic beneficial
  • Passion for sports, marketing, and strategy
  • 10+ years in Sports Marketing/Partnerships, with experience in strategy and consultancy
  • Line management experience preferred
  • Client-facing experience in the Middle East, KSA beneficial
  • Strong presentation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage teams effectively
