Our Middle East office has an opening in Saudi Arabia for a

AC Mechanic

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of air conditioning systems on all marine vessels. Your expertise will directly contribute to the comfort, safety, and operational efficiency of our marine fleet. Reporting to the Technical Superintendent.

Responsibilities will include:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems on various marine vessels.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot AC system issues, identifying the root causes and proposing effective solutions.
• Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and prevent potential breakdowns.
• Monitor refrigerant levels, pressures, and temperature controls to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.
• Participate in vessel equipment and machinery repairs in case of necessity.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an AC Mechanic, preferably in a marine or similar setting.
• Profound understanding of air conditioning systems, components, and their operation.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with refrigerants, their handling, and proper disposal procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
• Strong diagnostic skills to identify and resolve complex AC system issues.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to AC work in a marine environment.
