Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the Design Studio’s successful establishment, operations, and hand-over using proactive management, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Focus on designing, operating, and delivering the Design Studio’s digital information-processing website.
Minimum Skills, Experience, and Characteristics:
- Bachelor of Computer Science / Minimum 5 Years post-graduate.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in the development and management of websites including logic and processes, including previous experience as a web programmer or developer successfully delivering websites of a similar nature.
- Expert with various programming languages such as PHP, ASP.NET, JavaScript, etc.
- Expert working with HTML and CSS.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and web application development.
- Detail-oriented in design, coding, and execution.
- Project management proficient.
- Proficient in all typical Microsoft Office Applications, MS Project, MS Visio, Adobe Acrobat.
- Proficient in managing & engaging via MS Teams.
- Fluent in Arabic both oral and written.
- English language proficiency, both oral and written.
- Clear, concise & confident communicator: oral, written, and reports preparation.
- Excellent client-facing skills.
- Ability to deliver high-quality results on time/on budget in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated track record of balanced self-actualizer & collaborator skills.
Typical Work Activities:
- Coordinating with the Design Studio’s Digital Delivery PM, Technical Delivery PM, BIM-GIS Manager, and Sr. Document Controller to aggregate all Design Studio digital systems into an easy-to-use website that respects differing access-controlled users: the Design Studio staff, the Client’s staff, other Jurisdiction agencies, third-party design consultants, developers, and project owners.
- Coordinating with Stakeholders from the Development Authorities, Amanah, Municipalities, Development Authorities Support Center (DASC), and Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing (MoMRAH) to capture, understand and logically consolidate website requirements.
- Ensuring seamless integration of data from various sources.
- Defining all system requirements and proposing the corresponding hardware, software (custom and off-the-shelf), and any additional resources (consultants, vendors, suppliers, etc.) to develop, operate, and handover a turnkey complete and functioning website that integrates all systems.
- Designing & creating website servers.
- Writing lean, testable programming codes.
- Developing digital, including high caliber graphic, content.
- Designing user interfaces and web page layouts and functionality.
- Leading website coordination meetings to discuss development, integration, and review issues and progress.
- Preparing and developing the Work Plan, Manuals, Methodologies, Tools, and Reports for Implementation of the Design Studio’s website.
- Designing Website Solutions including Design Studio awareness campaigns, interactive third-party workshops, and online training.
- Collaboratively identifying the associated Design Studio Tasks for Website Execution and Work Finalization including Procedures Methodologies.
- Online Interactive Website Demo with Client and De-Bug Afterward.
- Upgrading, rectifying, and augmenting off-the-shelf software to integrate and optimize the functionality and user experience into the website.
- Creating training materials and conducting training sessions specific to the Website.
