Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP ABAP Development:Design, develop, and implementcustom ABAP programs, reports, forms, enhancements, BAPIs, BADIs, and interfaces.

• Manufacturing Processes Support:Develop solutions that integrate with manufacturing modules such asPP, MM, SD, WM,HR and QM.

• Enhancements & Customization:Work onUser Exits, Enhancements (Implicit/Explicit), and BADI implementationsfor process optimizations.

• Integration & Interfaces:Develop and maintainIDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Servicesto integrate SAP with external systems.

• Performance Optimization:Analyze and improve theperformance of ABAP programsusing tuning techniques such asSQL trace, Runtime analysis, and Code Inspector.

• SAP Fiori/UI5 Development (Preferred):Collaborate on SAP UI5 andFiori-based applicationsfor an improved user experience.

• Debugging & Issue Resolution:Troubleshoot and resolve issues related toSAP ABAP programs, batch jobs, and interfaces.

• Data Migration & LSMW:Supportdata migration activitiesusing tools such as LSMW, BDC, and LTMC.

• Workflow Development:Design and implementSAP Workflowsfor automation of approval processes.

• Collaboration & Documentation:Work closely withfunctional consultants and business usersto understand requirements and document technical specifications.

Skills

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, preferably in amanufacturing industry.

• Strong expertise inCore ABAP(Reports, ALV, Dialog Programming, SmartForms, SAP Scripts).

• Proficiency inEnhancements & Modifications(User Exits, BADI, Enhancement Framework).

• Experience withIDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and OData Services.

• Strong understanding ofSAP functional modules(MM, PP, SD, WM, QM).

• Knowledge ofABAP Objects (OO-ABAP)and modernABAP 7.4/7.5 syntax.

• Experience withSAP Fiori/UI5 developmentis a plus.

• Hands-on experience inPerformance TuningandCode Optimization.

• Exposure toS/4HANA ABAP(CDS Views, AMDP, and Embedded Analytics) is a plus.

• Experience indata migration tools(LSMW, BDC, LTMC) and integration withnon-SAP systems.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
