The Client:

My client is a leading QLD-owned Builder/Developer that specialise in delivering construction and development projects across the commercial and industrial sectors.

Their portfolio includes construct-only and self-delivered development projects valued up to 60mil - commercial business parks, industrial parks, freight/logistics facilities, cold storage/food processing facilities, fuel/petroleum, and mixed-use retail developments.

In additional to their own developments, they have successfully delivered repeat work for institutional private sector clients including ESR, Startrack, Australia Post,Goodman, Brisbane Airport Corp, Logos, Woolworths, BP, Shell, and Stockwell just to name a few.

The Role:

As Senior Project Manager,you will have end-to-end involvement in the management of complex redevelopment and new build construction projects, being engaged throughout the associated preconstruction, ECI, D&C and delivery processes. As well as managing the construction delivery of projects, you will work alongside the group's QLD Preconstruction Manager and Project Director to negotiate and secure projects with key clients.

Operating in a client facing capacity, you will be responsible for the review and negotiation of contracts to mitigate associated commercial risk, while managing the project team to ensure delivery deadlines are achieved inline with contractual and budgetary requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience managing the delivery of complex commercial and/or industrial construction projects.
• Fundamental understanding of complex technical construction methodologies (civil, piling, structure, cold storage etc) and commercial contract management/associated commercial risk mitigation strategies.
• Experience leading the associated ECI, D&C and Negotiated Work processes to successfully secure and deliver projects.
