Job Description:

  • Independent organisation of courses and holding of examinations
  • Collaboration in research, teaching and administrative tasks
  • Co-operation with educational institutions at the University of Innsbruck as well as with schools and other tertiary educational institutions
  • Further training in the didactics of the subject geography and economics education

Your profile:

  • Completed teacher training programme in geography and economics education (diploma, master's degree or equivalent)
  • Professional experience in teaching geography and economics education at school
  • Professional experience in university teaching in the field of geography and economics education
  • German language skills, if not first language: C1
  • Desired: Master's or diploma thesis (or equivalent) in the field of geography and economics education, preferably with a focus on education for sustainable development and/or transdisciplinary education
  • Desired: Experience in research-education collaborations
  • Desired: Publications or lectures in the field of didactics in geography and economic education
  • Desired: Willingness to gain further academic qualifications in the didactics of geography and economics education, education for sustainable development and transdisciplinary education
  • Ability to act independently, reliably and goal-orientated
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and socially

For this position, a minimum gross salary of € 1.857 per month (14 times) * . is stipulated in the collective agreement. Your actual starting salary will depend on your previous experience and will increase over the course of your employment.
