At Seer, we believe technology can transform healthcare for the better. We design and build neurological monitoring devices that reimagine how and where care is delivered, putting patients first and enabling clinicians to act faster with better data.
By making home-based neurological monitoring accessible at scale, we are helping to relieve pressure on overburdened healthcare systems, accelerate diagnosis and treatment, and support better outcomes for people living with epilepsy and other neurological conditions.
Headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, our team includes over 20 engineers working across hardware, software and data science to push the boundaries of what is possible in medtech.
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our mission-driven team as we bring Seer Cloud back to market. You'll be building medical device software that meets the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance, working across our full technology stack to deliver solutions that clinicians rely on in hospitals every day.
If you’ve worked in a regulated space before like a bank or healthcare institution, or are interested in learning what it’s like to build and ship high quality products within a regulated industry you’ll thrive in this role.
Seer offers competitive salaries and flexible remote working arrangements.

Robust architecture supporting critical healthcare workflows
Backend: Node.js/Apollo Graphql/Express with PostgreSQL database
Testing: React Testing Library with emphasis on comprehensive coverage
We’re looking for smart engineers who are great team players. We're full-stack focused - while it's impossible to excel across every layer, we value people who can contribute wherever they're needed and work seamlessly across disciplines.
