Business Development Manager (South Australian Region)

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this position is to maintain and expand our client base within South Australia, primarily looking after Residential Aged Care Homes, Hospitals, and Pharmacies.

This is an exciting role for a highly motivated individual with exceptional people and sales skills, driven by a desire to improve the lives of others.

About you

The successful candidate needs to be switched on, enthusiastic, a relationship building extraordinaire and understand the importance of finding solutions for our clients and will likely demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 3 years proven sales and business development/relationship management experience in consumables, preferably in our traditional channels (hospital and aged care).
  • Proactive and critical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and rapport building skills.
  • Great time management, planning, organising and negotiation skills.
  • An active team player that is self-motivated.
  • The experience and confidence to engage at a senior level.
  • The ability to operate at fast pace and adapt to changing market conditions and new competitors.
  • A strong attention to detail and a desire to succeed.
  • An intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • A willingness to undertake overnight regional travel (3 to 4 days per quarter).
  • Clinical experience (dietetics / speech pathology / nursing / other) is desirable but we are open to any health professional interested in developing a career in sales.
