The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Head of Safety, Risk and Compliance, the Group Manager Security and Compliance Monitoring will lead a team of 14, responsible for security and compliance monitoring for all Lindsay Australia operating across five (5) states including QLD, NSW, SA, VIC and WA. This includes overseeing three (3) depot gatehouses for our metro sites including Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and improve security frameworks across Lindsay Australia sites to ensure fit-for-purpose, compliant, and safe operations. This includes responsibility for all CCTV systems and operations.
• Provide expert advice and oversight on property, personnel, and safety-related security matters, including audits, investigations, and risk management.
• Monitor performance and drive improvements by generating insights, leading reporting, and providing expert advice for security across the network.
• Partner with Transport Safety teams to develop and enhance safety monitoring and driver compliance frameworks and enhance driver safety performance across the company.

The Person:

This role seeks a dynamic leader with a strong background in operations, team management, and security oversight to help drive both day-to-day performance and long-term safety and compliance goals.

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Proven experience in transport or logistics operations, with a hands-on understanding of fast-paced environments.
• Expertise in CCTV systems, surveillance monitoring, and security response protocols.
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing and motivating frontline teams.
• Advanced data analysis and reporting skills to support proactive decision-making.
• In-depth knowledge of transport compliance, safety legislation, and risk mitigation practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently across all levels of the business.
