Area of Responsibilities:

  • Define and develop ergonomic and biomechanical requirement profiles to support the safe, user-friendly design of juvenile products
  • Evaluate product concepts in early development stages, ensuring they meet ergonomic and biomechanical standards for comfort, functionality, and user well-being
  • Review technical drawings and product artwork to verify compliance with established ergonomic guidelines
  • Provide expert input throughout the entire product development process, with a focus on ergonomics, biomechanics, and usability
  • Organize and conduct hands-on product testing with children and parents, gathering structured feedback to drive iterative design improvements
  • Recruit, engage, and maintain relationships with test families, ensuring consistent participation in product evaluation activities
  • Conduct technology scouting and market research to identify innovations and emerging trends in ergonomics, comfort, and safety
  • Analyze and synthesize findings from scientific studies to inform product development with the latest evidence-based insights
  • Lead or support scientific research projects, including contributions to publications and collaboration with academic or clinical partners

Profile of Qualification:

  • Completed technical or scientific education (HTL, FH, or university) in biomechanics, ergonomics, biomedicine, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, midwifery, or a comparable field
  • Practical experience working with children, with an understanding of their developmental needs and how they interact with products
  • A genuine interest in ergonomic design and user-centered development, especially in the context of juvenile products
  • Demonstrated responsibility in handling safety-relevant tasks and adherence to regulatory or industry standards
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly for documentation, data evaluation, and presentation
  • Fluent in German and confident in spoken and written English (B1 level)
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment, bringing a hands-on, proactive, and solution-driven mindset
