Job Description:

Our client is an international automotive company with several international plants. This client is now building up a new division for green technologies and is also investing in a plant in Upper Austria. For this reason, we are searching for a Control Function Development Engineer who wants to be part of this strong growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Development of software functions and control algorithms for fuel cell system management
2. Software component modeling and simulation using model-based software development (Matlab/Simulink)
3. Collaborate with embedded software development teams to support function integration and validation
4. Ensures comprehensive validation and verification using appropriate methods and tools
5. Contribute to system architecture and strategy development
6. Definition of requirements, design documentation and test strategy
7. Contributes to appropriate procedures and documentation and capitalizes knowledge

REQUIREMENTS:

1. University Degree in Electronic, Electrical, Automatics, Computer Engineering or equivalent
2. At least 5 years of experience in the field, preferable for automotive TIER1.
3. Experience of model-based controls and software functions using MATLAB/Simulink
4. Strong experience of control systems, signal processing, electronics, sensors and actuators
5. Knowledge of embedded C and real-time systems is a plus
6. Good capacity of listening and communication skills
7. Team spirit and able to work autonomously
8. Fluent English (German nice to have)

For this position, our client offers a minimum salary of EUR 50,000 gross per year. Of course, this company will offer more depending on your qualification and experience.
