Your future role

Develop modern, resilient, and scalable microservices with Java 21 for the FinTech sector
Take end-to-end responsibility for business-critical projects, including architectural and conceptual challenges, working closely with various teams and software engineers
Apply Clean Code principles with comprehensive test coverage (unit, integration, E2E)
Optimize performance and monitor payment services using Datadog and Grafana
Evaluate and integrate new technologies to continuously enhance the backend landscape
Support and coach junior team members through technical mentoring

Desired qualifications

Several years of backend development experience in a dynamic environment
Excellent knowledge of Java 21 and common frameworks such as Spring Boot or Micronaut
Experience with both relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Expertise in developing and maintaining high-performance REST APIs
Hands-on experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ in an event-driven microservices environment
Familiarity with CI/CD processes as well as cloud technologies like AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes
Excellent command of English

Salary range

Between EUR 4,600 and EUR 6,000 gross/month (on full-time basis) according to qualifications and experience.
