In this pioneering hybrid role in the organization, you will expand the company's reach with payers to improve patient access to biosimilar and generics, while also enhancing the overall performance and productivity of our sales force. As the largest generics company in Austria with a unique footprint, the Field Market Access role plays a critical part in identifying and overcoming barriers to market entry, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and supporting our critical biosimilar policy initiative in the field. The Training and Capabilities aspect of this role, in alignment with the Region Europe program, will ensure that both FLMs and sales reps are equipped with the skills, techniques, and competencies needed to increase sales and performance.

Your Key Responsibilities In Field Market Access

  • Establish and build trusting relationships and partnerships with network of key payers and influencers across the country and acts as Market Access single point of contact for stakeholders
  • Understand the decision-making process of key stakeholders in order to create, inform and implement the MA plan
  • Generate and effectively communicate convincing content and messages to understand stakeholder interests and objections, adapt messaging to the reimbursement context within the market, and respond by confidently reinforcing the value of Sandoz and our portfolio to payers
  • Stay informed and articulate solid knowledge of the market situation, company and environmental developments, policy and reimbursement trends, and uses the data/information as appropriate in customer interactions
  • Accountable for the development & execution of integrated engagement plans, working cross- functionally with market access colleagues, corporate affairs and business units

Your Key Responsibilities In Field Force Training & Capabilities

  • Develop and deliver our field force training program for Austria, aligned with the regional plan and with the local business strategy and need, in addition to ad-hoc Business Operations leadership requests
  • Monitor and support FLM coaching and field force KPI tracking to ensure both the personal and business development of their teams; monitor and support salesperson activity to encourage channel usage for customer engagement and to identify further training needs

What You’ll Bring To The Role

  • You are curious about new and constantly changing topics and are motivated with the fun of diverse, self-organized work. For this, you should have a very good knowledge of the Austrian health care system and a clear understanding of socio-legal, economic and health-economic contexts - especially with regards to the supply of medicines - and enjoy familiarizing yourself with complex topics.
  • Your strengths include outstanding people, communication, and presentation skills in German and English combined with an entrepreneurial can-do attitude. You can quickly fathom complex relationships and present or convey them in a way that is appropriate for the target group.
  • A successfully completed degree in health economics, pharmacy or medicine forms the foundation upon which you have already been able to gain professional experience in the healthcare sector, including work at an institution of the Austrian health administration (e.g. Krankenkasse) or ideally field market access experience
  • You are willing to travel to visit stakeholders across Austria.
  • You have an interest in training and development of sales representatives in the life sciences industry, preferably already with experience in sales or sales management in pharmaceuticals
  • Direct work experience in the generics / biosimilar arm of pharma would be a plus
  • Exposure to digital and omnichannel concepts by field force would be a plus

You´ll Receive

  • Attractive salary with incentive program
  • Modern company pension scheme
  • Flexible working hours / home-office depending on the position
  • Company Car
  • 14 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Additional days off (bridge-days)
  • Meal vouchers
  • Wellbeing & mental health offers
  • Learning and development options for your personal and professional growth
  • Worldwide career opportunities
