We are currently seeking a Regional General Manager for the Projects team within Honeywell Building Automation, based in our Abbotsford office. This role entails preparing, planning, executing, and controlling all aspects of projects either directly or through delegation with the project team. Successful delivery depends on monitoring and managing financials, schedules, resources (including subcontractors), and stakeholder relationships (internal and external).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. PNL responsibilities across assigned regions for the projects business
  2. Leadership and development of the projects team including Project Managers, Directors, Support teams
  3. Risk identification and management across the portfolio
  4. Overall responsibility for project delivery and implementation
  5. Develop strategic growth plans for the region and associated projects group
  6. Manage effective communication with all project stakeholders
  7. Provide regular and accurate estimates of project completion costs

Key Experience & Capabilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is highly regarded
  • 10+ years’ experience in project delivery within Construction, Building Services, Technology, Infrastructure sectors, including Infrastructure, Roading, Information Technologies, and Network Solutions
  • Proven leadership in developing and leading multiple teams
  • Strategic growth mindset
  • Extensive project management experience, including budget management, resource allocation, scheduling, forecasting, and planning
  • Ability to work effectively in matrix organizations
  • Capacity to handle multiple objectives
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and computer skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and communicate at the executive level
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to identify technical solutions aligned with customer needs
  • Strong commitment to safety and maintaining a safe working environment
