Our client – a PE-backed renewable energy investment platform – is looking for a VP or Senior Associate to join their growing team in Vienna. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact role driving the growth of utility-scale renewables and clean infrastructure across Europe.

The Role

As VP/Senior Associate, you’ll lead deals end-to-end – from sourcing and execution to portfolio value creation – playing a key role in the firm’s investment strategy across the energy transition space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Originate and execute renewable energy investments (solar, wind, storage, etc.)
• Lead financial modelling, valuations, and IC materials
• Manage due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiations
• Oversee project development and portfolio performance
• Liaise with developers, lenders, advisors, and internal teams

Requirements:

• 4–8 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or infrastructure investing
• Proven track record running M&A or infrastructure deals independently
• Deep modelling and transaction execution skills
• Strong exposure to the energy or infrastructure sectors
• Fluent in English; German is a strong plus
