Your Role: Own the Challenge
In this role, you will be responsible for the marketing of our innovative ABB products/ systems/ services/ solutions in Motion in Austria. You will also be responsible for communications and, to a certain extent, for ABB Austria. Daily, you will implement assigned marketing and communications activities using all available communication tools in accordance with the company's guidelines and specifications, and within the approved budget. As a Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will use your experience and motivation to sustainably promote our business and develop effective solutions for specific customer needs.

- Creation of Marketing Materials and Campaigns: Conceptualization and creation of printed and digital sales support materials such as brochures, catalogs, presentations, advertisements, videos, newsletters, and social media content-developed in close collaboration with Sales and Product Management to effectively target various audiences across multiple media channels. Development of integrated marketing concepts and execution of lead generation initiatives, including email campaigns, online advertising, and the use of various digital tools and platforms.
- Use Cases: Definition and development of meaningful content and use cases together with the respective internal and external customer contacts that can be used in online and offline marketing activities.
- Market Analyses and Event Support: Support with market analyses and data processing. Coordination of all product launch activities and development of their marketing strategy in collaboration with Product Management and Motion Management for market dissemination. Planning and organization of trade fairs and events.
- Divisional and Corporate Communications: Maintain close and positive collaboration with internal and external communications communities to promote knowledge of current practices and innovations. Develop creative concepts for all aspects of communication in accordance with ABB's brand guidelines. Collaborate with internal communications teams and Corporate Communications, particularly in the planning and design of cross-departmental trade fairs, events, and marketing activities.
What it takes to Run what runs the world- Educational background: Degree from HLB, HTL (university of applied sciences), or a higher education institution with a keen interest in technology as well as marketing and communications
- Professional experience: At least 3 years of experience in marketing and communications for technical products and systems
- Willingness to travel: A willingness to travel is required
- Language skills: Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
- IT skills: Proficient in MS Office; Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, or similar
- Personal skills: Collaborative, solution-oriented work style, accuracy, effective presentation and communication skills.
- Approach: Cost awareness, self-motivation, and team orientation.

In accordance with the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in Austria, the minimum salary for this position is € 3.400 gross per month as of May 2025. There is a clear willingness to offer compensation above the collectively agreed minimum salary, depending on qualifications and experience.
