Your future position:

Kpler is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to lead the Vessel Particulars & Companies team within our Data Assets team at Kpler, ensuring effective operations and alignment with overall team objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and develop within a dynamic team focused on vessel particulars, company data, and innovative data solutions.

Your mission is to:

  1. Define and monitor team goals, supervise activities, and maintain focus on priorities.
  2. Serve as the subject matter expert on Vessel Particulars & Companies business logic/rules/datasets.
  3. Identify and integrate new datasets into our databases.
  4. Develop and test business logic, create dashboards and curate datasets.
  5. Allocate resources, support team members, and identify training needs.
  6. Implement automation strategies, integrate new data sources, and maintain related platforms.
  7. Collaborate with tech stakeholders for infrastructure needs and support commercial teams with data insights.
  8. Enhance proprietary data quality and keep the team aligned with company objectives.
  9. Manage KPIs and OKRs, provide insights for improvement, and support product development.

It will be a match if you are or have:

  1. Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
  2. Proficiency in SQL and Python; familiarity with visualization tools (Tableau, Looker).
  3. Experience with ETL processes and web scraping languages.
  4. Understanding of statistics, analytics, and data processing techniques.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  6. Knowledge of modern database and information system technologies.

Desired:

  1. Project management experience.
  2. Understanding of the Maritime Industry and SaaS.
