We’re a local (Not-For-Profit) Early Learning Centre (ELC) on Rogers Way (Newman, WA) dedicated to inspiring and nurturing children to become independent little butterflies. You’re a big part of how we make this happen. We’re looking for an ELC Centre Director ready to work their magic.

Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations, collaborate with educators, chair staff meetings, conduct performance reviews, facilitate staff training, uphold YMCA policies, and design high-quality learning curriculums. Check the attached JD for details.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree or diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent
  • First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis Certificates (obtainable)
  • Knowledge of National Quality Framework & Regulations 2012
  • Experience as a Director/Manager in early childhood
  • Visionary leadership, fostering a positive, inclusive, safe environment
  • Experience leading teams of educators and support staff
  • Knowledge of child development and programming
  • Understanding of financial and administrative functions
  • Obtain Police Certificate and Working with Children card
