Senior Developer (Office / M365)
We are currently looking for a talented Senior Developer (Office / M365), on behalf of a major international organization.
Location: fully remote role within EU
Key Responsibilities:
| · Design, construction and documentation of new systems and system components, satisfying the organization’s functional and non-functional requirements and consistent with the design of other system components and the system architecture. |
| · Maintenance of systems, system components and documentation as part of defect fixing process. |
| · Potentially lead small teams of 2-5 Developers in the design and construction of the system, showing ownership and responsibility for the team’s deliverables. |
| · Unit testing of system components to ensure they meet their specification. |
| · Planning and execution of technical aspects of System Test and System Integration Test. |
| · Providing developer support for other test phases. |
| · Tailoring, enhancing and adherence of the organization’s standards, processes and methods for the development and maintenance of system components. |
| · Reviewing deliverables of Developers and other Senior Developers to ensure required quality standards are met. |
| · Reporting progress and status of own work and team’s work. |
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
| · A minimum of five years of commercial experience as a software developer. |
| · Successful experience in multiple projects of the specific technologies, methodologies and tools to be used. |
| · Ability to create and follow development standards, processes, tools and methods. |
| · Experience developing and executing unit test plans. |
| · Experience using version control and issue tracking tools. |
| · Experience developing systems using different System Development Methodologies (traditional, iterative, and rapid). |
| · Strong understanding of client/server, relational database and web application concepts. |
| · Has completed successful projects using system integration methods and technologies. |
| · Must be a team player, experienced in working with others to achieve an objective. |
| · Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language. |
| · Must be project-oriented, customer-focused and responsive, with a professional manner. |
| · Ability to follow and implement DevSecOps set of practices. |
| · Experience with agile methodologies like SCRUM. |
Additional Skills and Qualifications:
| · Experience in the creation and use of automated unit testing. |
| · Experience in the creation and use of automated build and deployment. |
| · Experience supporting performance testing exercises, performance tuning code. |
| · Experience in API driven development and single page application (SPA) development. |
Role specific — Key responsibilities:
| · Design and construction of O365 apps. |
| · Design and construction of application and infrastructure components. |
| · Maintenance of existing O365 apps. |
| · Design and provision of integration and interoperability with other applications. |
Role specific — Essential Skills and Qualifications:
| · Excellent experience of SharePoint Server‐Side and Client‐Side Object Model. |
| · Excellent development experience on Apps and bespoke project specifications using the Microsoft SharePoint Development toolkit. |
| · Excellent experience in Azure Development, e.g. Azure Functions. |
| · Excellent experience with MS Power Platform – MS PowerApps, PowerAutomate and PowerBI. |
| · Excellent experience in Office 365 development: |
| Custom Form Development – e.g. SPForms. |
| · Excellent experience in CI/CD and development of advanced testing processes, e.g. Unit Testing. |
| · Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM). |
| · Expert knowledge of web technologies, thorough extensive working experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript and at least one JavaScript frameworks (JQuery, React, Vue.JS, Bootstrap and AngularJS). |
Role specific — Additional Skills and Qualifications:
| · Development within MS Teams. |
| · Automation – PowerAutomate and Azure LogicApps. |
| · API coding and MS Graph. |
| · An understanding of business process mapping. |
| · Experience with API driven development and single page application (SPA) development. |
