Job Description:

An international environment focused on hydro projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Liability Insurance Line Management: Renew and place global master general and professional liability policies, coordinate local and project policies, collaborate with brokers, insurers, and team, manage complex third-party liability claims, and communicate strategies to maximize coverage.
• Cyber Insurance Line Management: Renew and place global cyber insurance, collaborate with IT and brokers, oversee underwriting, and lead cyber incident response team.
• Risk Management: Analyze loss data, identify exposures, recommend solutions, and monitor insurance procedures for compliance.
• Contract Review: Review and negotiate customer insurance requirements in EPC contracts.
• M&A: Solicit quotes for reps and warranties insurance, analyze offers, and facilitate transactions.

Qualifications:

• Preferably a legal background, especially common law.
• At least 10 years experience in insurance, law firm, or insurance department of an international company.
• Deep understanding of third-party liability insurance, litigation, and insurance markets.
• Ability to work globally, including international travel.
• Excellent English communication skills; German is a plus.
• Independent, precise, and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented with strong communication and commitment.

Position details:

• Fully remote with potential business trips within EU and US.
• Salary: 60,000 - 85,000€ + MBO up to 15% + benefits.
• No people management responsibilities.
