Job Description:

Our client is an international company in the pharma industry, located in Krems an der Donau.
We are searching for a full-time On-site IT Support Specialist.

Key activities & responsibilities

  • Provide desk side support to all users on site including regular use of ticketing system (Service Now)
  • Operate and implement all IT infrastructure in scope, including appropriate application of globally defined processes around Configuration Management, Change Management, and Incident/Problem Management
  • Ensure effective collaboration with all IT colleagues
  • Communicate all IT infrastructure related topics to users on IT Solution Spot
  • Support all IT infrastructure projects on site
  • Support and manage vendors providing IT services at the site
  • Deliver products based on the IT Product model
  • Responsible for HW asset management, HW stock maintenance, planning and HW purchasing
  • Support achieving departmental budget goals at the site
  • Assist with or perform administrative tasks, such as managing and updating invoices, processing new orders, and tracking inventory
  • Master the One IT Operating Model and apply the Model in daily work
  • Interact with fellow colleagues from other sites/countries for knowledge sharing, knowledge gaining
  • Support and implement all IT infrastructure projects in scope

Qualification

  • 5 years relevant experience or demonstrated technical knowledge
  • Excellent English and German language, written and verbal communications skills required
  • Education: MSc Degree or BSc Degree or equivalent with relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, Math, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrates creative incident solving in response to position IT as a tool for supporting the business
  • Operates effectively in a matrix environment
  • Strong customer-focus and excellent customer skills
  • Strong emotional intelligence, friendliness, and respectful attitude
  • Positive mind-set, body-language, and vocabulary in all interactions with all users, stakeholders, colleagues
