To support continued expansion and commercial excellence across international markets, we are currently seeking a Commercial Senior Director (m/f/d) to join the leadership team in Vienna.

Main responsibilities:

In this strategic leadership role, you will play a central role in shaping and driving commercial performance across multiple country organizations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving local commercial strategies across Retail, B2B, and Online channels, ensuring strong alignment with global objectives.
  • Acting as a sparring partner and mentor to Country Directors and local commercial teams, fostering high-performing, entrepreneurial mindsets.
  • Supporting local teams in pricing, trade terms, promotional planning, and go-to-market models tailored to individual market needs.
  • Leading commercial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance optimization, in collaboration with local teams.
  • Tracking and guiding commercial KPIs across markets, ensuring continuous revenue growth and profitability.
  • Building and scaling commercial capabilities through hands-on leadership and coaching.
  • Facilitating seamless cross-functional collaboration with global teams (e.g. Finance, Marketing, Product, Supply Chain).
  • Acting as the key liaison between local market execution and global commercial strategy.

What you should bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in senior commercial leadership roles, ideally in multi-country or regional settings within fast-paced consumer environments.
  • Proven success in scaling Retail and/or B2B operations across different markets.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and a passion for empowering and developing local teams.
  • Solid command of P&L management, pricing strategy, forecasting, and commercial planning.
  • A highly analytical mindset, with data-informed decision-making skills.
  • A collaborative, hands-on, and entrepreneurial approach to leadership.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.

Our client offers a gross annual salary starting at EUR 150,000.00. A higher remuneration may be considered based on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant professional experience.
