Seeking a Program Operations Manager to join our passionate and dynamic team leading innovative projects aimed at increasing high-quality child-led play for children.
Australian Institute of Play is charity organisation delivering innovative and community responsive projects mostly across the Logan community to increase conditions and opportunities for children to play where they live.
Your role will be central to building upon the success of this organisation and we are looking for someone who really understands the process child-led play and power of play for children, families and community, as well as experience working in a Playwork capacity.
This job will suit someone with a strong framework for supporting children's right as well as community development.

JOB TITLE:Project Operations Manager
JOB TYPE:Part time (68.4 houror 9 dayfortnight)
LOCATION:Logan-widewith focus in Eagleby & Yarrabilba
SUPERVISOR/MANAGER:Chief Executive Officer
AWARD:Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award - Level 5.1
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless execution of projects with regular consultation from CEO
· Manageproject budgets,timelines, reporting, resource allocation and staff
· Identify risks and create mitigation strategies
· Have a vested interest in genuinely listening to children and sharing their voices further
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, and stakeholders
· Regularly audit/assess/supportstaff skills and prepare skill building opportunities
· Supervise loose parts play sessions in Playworker capacity
· Other jobs requested by the CEO as necessary
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
· Social Development relevant Bachelor or similar qualification/experience
· Playwork qualifications or relevant experience
· Interpersonal skills that can be applied across varying contexts
· Experience working in diverse cultural settings
· Demonstrated success in grant application and supplementary funding
· Up to date knowledge about Child Safe Organisations
· Blue Card or ability to acquire one at short notice
· First aid and CPR
Skills:
· Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
· Website development and social media skills (or willingness to learn)
· Excellent verbal and written communication
· Organised and able to meet deadlines
