Role: Senior Solution Sales Executive (f/m/d) CX Cloud Austria

Role Description

The primary goal of the Senior Solution Sales Executive is to achieve overall revenue targets. This involves creating a comprehensive territory business plan that generates at least 3x of their quota in pipeline opportunities. Responsibilities include identifying and qualifying opportunities, developing strategies, and creating an opportunity plan that articulates the value proposition of SAP's Customer Experience cloud solutions (CRM, Digital Commerce, Digital Marketing B2C & B2B, etc.) and services to potential customers and prospects within the territory. The role requires building and nurturing executive relationships independently while positioning SAP's leadership team.

Expectations and Tasks

  1. Develop and execute programs with the Sales Manager to drive pipeline and close deals.
  2. Educate target accounts on solutions, conduct account planning for strategic deals.
  3. Uncover and manage sales cycle opportunities as directed by the Regional Sales Lead.
  4. Collaborate with the VAT team on sales campaigns.
  5. Establish, develop, and expand market share and revenue within designated accounts.
  6. Achieve sales objectives related to securing new business opportunities.
  7. Develop best practices for securing repeatable and expanding opportunities across accounts.

Work Experience

  • At least 6 years of experience selling business software (SaaS) and/or IT solutions.
  • Experience selling to CXOs.
  • Proven success in target achievement.
  • Expertise in the CX domain and ability to discuss value propositions with CX Line of Business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of specific industries (Discrete, Manufacturing, CPG, Retail, Services, etc.) is a plus.

Education, Skills, and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or related fields.
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Sales Methodology training preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP’s product solutions.
