Head of Strategic Accounts

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Taskify is exclusively partnering with a top-tier global tech and food delivery client to find an exceptional Head of Strategic Accounts. This is a pivotal leadership role for a seasoned professional with a proven track record of managing and growing high-value, strategic partnerships on a large scale.

About the Role: As the Head of Strategic Accounts for our client, you will be responsible for leading the strategy and execution for their most critical and highest-revenue partners. You will cultivate executive-level relationships, identify growth opportunities, and ensure the long-term success and satisfaction of these key accounts, directly contributing to the company's global objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the overall strategic account management vision and roadmap for key global partners.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Strategic Account Managers.
  • Cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships with top-tier clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Identify and drive significant revenue growth opportunities within the strategic account portfolio.
  • Oversee the negotiation of complex commercial agreements and renewals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, marketing, and legal teams to deliver tailored solutions and resolve complex issues.
  • Monitor performance metrics, analyze market trends, and provide strategic insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences as a key ambassador.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in strategic account management, key account management, or business development, with a significant portion in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar accounts and achieving substantial growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels, particularly executive.
  • Strong business acumen, with expertise in commercial negotiations and contract management.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience using data to drive strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the e-commerce, tech, food delivery, or a related fast-paced consumer industry is highly advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is highly preferred.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a strong asset.
