Deputy Chief Executive Officer

• Full-time, fixed Term (3-5 year) contract

• Gross salary $142,000 to $188,200

• Housing provided in Cunderdin

• 11.5% Guaranteed superannuation plus up to an additional 4% matching employer contribution

About the Position

The Shire of Cunderdin is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to lead our Finance,

Customer Service and Information Systems teams. The ideal candidate will bring significant financial

management experience at a senior level, supported by tertiary qualifications in finance. Exceptional

communication abilities and a proven track record in team leadership are essential. A strong

understanding of Local Government operations and prior experience working with Council will be

highly regarded.

About You

The successful candidate will be motivated and well organised and have (although not limited to):

• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., business, economic development, project management,)

or equivalent experience (minimum 4 years)

• Senior management role experience ideally in Local Government

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant Local Government legislative,

statutory and regulatory requirements

• Well development leadership, people management, communication and interpersonal skills

• The right to live and work in Australia and a National Police Clearance
