Job Purpose

This position is responsible for being the technical lead for installs and upgrades of AHS systems.

Installs, supports and customises Modular products to meet the scope of the project as defined by the customer.

Travel Requirements

Up to 25%

Job Duties And Responsibilities

1. Manage and execute AHS projects and AHS product deployments to ensure quality and value in use is delivered to the customer as per the SOW (Scope of Works).
2. Work closely with Komatsu Australia Project Managers to implement Frontrunner and Dispatch systems at customer sites.
3. Escalate issues to the Komatsu Australia Project Manager, Regional Manager – Autonomous Systems, and AHS Operations Supervisor as soon as practicable if they may impede or affect the successful execution of the project.
4. Provide troubleshooting and diagnosis of root cause system issues during installs and deployments by supporting, training, and coaching engineers (Product Engineer – Level II – Autonomous Systems) involved in the project.
5. Support and advise users internally and externally at AHS mine sites.
6. Capture and document opportunities for continuous improvements (CI) through reports, manuals, presentations, and process maps for internal training.
7. Manage and maintain the local simulation environment with the latest versions of Frontrunner and Dispatch, ensuring the needs of the AHS Operations Supervisor are met.
8. Attend meetings with internal and external customers regularly.
9. Participate in ad hoc projects as required.

Required Skills

1. Understanding of project methodology.
2. Sound knowledge of specific Modular products – FMS/AHS.
3. Tertiary qualifications in Mining, Engineering, IT, or related fields.
4. Sound knowledge of mining operations – AHS preferred.
