Operations Manager for Solar, Battery, Heat Pumps and HVAC

About Lightning Energy
Lightning Energy is a leading provider in the renewable energy sector, specializing in electrification, solar, battery systems, heat pumps, EV chargers, and HVAC solutions.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Manager to drive our operations and administration to new heights.

The Role
As Operations Manager, you will oversee all operational and administrative functions, ensuring seamless delivery of projects and services.

This role demands a proactive leader with extensive industry experience and a proven ability to manage teams, meet KPIs, and maintain exceptional standards.

Presenting in our Clayton office every day will be mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize all operations and administration for Lightning Energy.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage employee performance to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure strict adherence to KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee pre-approvals and rebate claims with Solar Victoria, VEECs, and federal STCs.
  • Build strong relationships with employees and stakeholders.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and handle complaints effectively.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory bodies including VEU, Solar Victoria, NETCC, CEC, WorkSafe, and Fair Work.

Industry Experience: Extensive knowledge of electrification, solar, battery systems, heat pumps, EV chargers, and HVAC is a MUST.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.

Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of VEU, Solar Victoria, NETCC, CEC, WorkSafe, and Fair Work processes.

Rebate Expertise: Experience with uploading pre-approvals and claiming rebates (Solar Victoria, VEECs, and federal STCs).

Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and precision in all tasks.

People Skills: Strong ability to build relationships, manage performance, and resolve conflicts.

Customer Focus: Outstanding customer service and complaints-handling skills.

Drive: Highly motivated, results-oriented, and proactive.
