Product Marketing Engineer - NFC Tags and Readers

The job of a product marketing engineer is within the NFC tags and readers team, part of the Connected Security subgroup organization (MDG/CS).

This role involves defining, organizing, and implementing strategies to increase sales growth and market share for the ST25 NFC / RFID reader product family.

Our products address various applications such as payment terminals, access control, smart home, IoT, industrial, etc.

Main Missions

1. Analyze customer and market needs (market intelligence) and define technical requirements for new products (marketing requirement document).
2. Manage the reader product offering and position it against competitors.
3. Participate in the reader product forecast with the demand planning team.
4. Review and approve pricing proposals to maximize revenue, margin, and market share.
5. Coordinate the product launch and its ecosystem (hardware, software, kits, demos, documentation).
6. Promote products during customer meetings, tradeshows, and online.
7. Support customers and partners during promotion and design-in phases, as well as ST sales, regional marketing, and FAE.

Profile

• 2-5 years of experience.
• Knowledge of contactless NFC / RFID and wireless technologies is preferred.
• Fluent English (required for daily discussions with Asia, US, and Europe).
• Excellent communication skills (clear messaging, listening, negotiating).
• Autonomous, capable of customer visits, webinars, seminars, demos, and tradeshow promotion.
• Willing to travel frequently.
• Strong presentation skills (oral and written) for internal and external audiences.
• Reactivity and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
• Innovative and creative with problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented and able to work in an international environment.
