Job Description:

An international group focused on hydro projects with an international environment.

Reporting to the Group Insurance Director, the candidate should possess the following key technical skills:

• Liability Insurance Line Management: Renew and place global master general and professional liability policies annually. Coordinate local and project policies as needed. Collaborate with brokers, insurers, and team to ensure policies meet business needs. Deep understanding of policy language and coverage. Manage complex global third-party liability claims, communicate strategy to maximize coverage.
• Cyber Insurance Line Management: Renew and place global cyber insurance policies annually. Collaborate with IT, brokers, and team. Oversee underwriting process. Lead cyber incident response team.
• Risk Management: Analyze loss data, identify exposures, recommend solutions, implement programs, promote loss prevention, and monitor insurance procedures.
• Contract Review: Review customer insurance requirements in EPC contracts, analyze, edit, and negotiate provisions.
• M&A: Solicit quotes for reps and warranties insurance, analyze offers, and facilitate processes.

Qualification Requirements:

• Preferably legal academic background (common law preferred).
• At least 10 years experience in insurance companies, insurance departments of international companies, or law firms.
• Deep understanding of third-party liability insurance and insurance markets.
• Ability to work globally, including international travel.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is an advantage.
• Independent, precise, problem-solving skills, team spirit, and commitment.

This is a fully remote position with potential business trips within the EU and US.

Salary package: €60,000-€85,000 + MBO up to 15% + benefits. No people management responsibilities.
