Scientific Profile
We are seeking a highly qualified individual with a proven track record of outstanding scientific achievements in experimental Physical Chemistry. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in chemistry, which is essential for advancing concepts in Physical Chemistry through both independent and collaborative experimental research. It is expected that the field of Physical Chemistry will be represented in both research and teaching in its full scope, from Bachelor's and Master's programs to doctoral supervision, and that course content will be delivered with both subject matter expertise and didactical competence. A demonstrated ability to secure research funding (from competitive calls) and to conduct independent, self-sustaining research in the field is essential. A valuable complement or expansion of existing research fields is desirable.
The successful candidate is expected to engage actively in interdisciplinary cooperation within our institutes and be proactive in strengthening cross-faculty initiatives within the Fields of Expertise “Advanced Materials Science” and/or “Human and Biotechnology” of Graz University of Technology and within the cooperation NAWI Graz.
