A local manufacturer of building & construction products, renowned for timely site deliveries, installations, and quality service. Led by a Senior Leadership Team committed to continuous improvement, fostering a culture of learning, development, Lean Manufacturing Principles, and strategic growth.

Your Opportunity:
Due to internal growth, an opportunity has arisen for a strategic, people-oriented Operations Manager, leading a workforce of 60-70. You'll be part of the Senior Leadership Team, with responsibilities including:

• Leading and optimizing manufacturing processes with a focus on safety and continuous improvement
• Problem-solving and decision-making related to output planning and scheduling
• Developing teams, performance, and culture by motivating and inspiring a diverse group of operators
• Analyzing data and reports to inform manufacturing and supply chain decisions
• Effectively liaising with stakeholders, internal teams, suppliers, building site managers, key clients, and executives
• Producing reports that balance quality and time pressures in manufacturing

About You:

• Experience in a similar Operations Management role, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment involving building and construction materials
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles
• Tertiary education in Engineering or Business Administration is preferred
• Proven ability to apply business acumen to manufacturing environments, focusing on efficiencies related to building sites
• An approachable leader committed to developing their people

Other Details

The position is on-site, full-time, with a strong career path. Remuneration is guided at $110,000 - $120,000+ Superannuation + Vehicle.
