Job Description

An international group focused on hydro projects operates in an international environment. Reporting to the Group Insurance Director, the candidate will possess key technical skills in insurance and risk management, including:

1. Liability Insurance Line Management: managing global master general and professional liability policies, coordinating local and project policies, and managing complex liability claims across legislations.
2. Cyber Insurance Line Management: renewing and placing global cyber insurance policies, collaborating with IT and brokers, and leading cyber incident response.
3. Risk Management: analyzing loss data, identifying exposures, recommending solutions, and monitoring insurance procedures.
4. Contract Review: analyzing and negotiating customer insurance requirements in EPC contracts.
5. M&A: soliciting quotes for reps and warranties insurance, analyzing offers, and facilitating insurance processes.

Qualification Requirements

• Preferably a legal education, with common law preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in an insurance company, insurance department of an international company, or law firm.
• Deep understanding of third-party liability insurance and the insurance market.
• Ability to work in a global setting, including international travel.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English; German is an advantage.
• Independent, precise, and problem-solving working style.
• Team spirit, commitment, and a global focus.

Position Details

Fully remote position with potential business trips in EU and US.

Salary: 60/85k€ + MBO up to 15% + benefits.

No people management responsibilities.
