Job Description:

An international group focused on hydro projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Liability Insurance Line Management: Renew and place global master general and professional liability policies annually. Coordinate local and project policies. Collaborate with brokers, insurers, and teams to ensure policies meet business needs. Manage complex global third-party liability claims, communicate strategies to maximize coverage.
2. Cyber Insurance Line Management: Renew and place global cyber insurance policies. Collaborate with IT and internal teams. Oversee underwriting process. Lead cyber incident response team.
3. Risk Management: Analyze loss data, identify exposures, recommend solutions, promote loss prevention, and monitor insurance procedures.
4. Contract Review: Review and negotiate customer insurance requirements in EPC contracts to ensure compliance with insurance programs.
5. M&A: Solicit quotes for reps and warranties insurance, analyze offers, and facilitate processes.

Qualifications:

• Preferably legal education (common law preferred).
• At least 10 years of experience in an insurance company, insurance department of an international company, or law firm.
• Deep understanding of third-party liability insurance, global insurance programs, litigation, and insurance markets.
• Ability to work globally, including international travel.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is an advantage.
• Independent, precise, problem-solving skills.
• Team spirit, commitment, and global focus.

Position Details:

Fully remote with potential business trips within EU and US.

Salary: 60/85k€ + MBO up to 15% + benefits.

No people management responsibilities.
