About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Project Manager with a strong background in ICT and Managed Services to lead complex technical projects and mentor a team of Project Delivery Engineers. This role is pivotal in driving successful project delivery across infrastructure, cloud, and service transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring alignment with strategic business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple ICT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project and ConnectWise.

Coordinate and allocate technical engineering resources across concurrent projects, working closely with internal engineering and service delivery teams.

Facilitate workshops to gather business and technical requirements, define scope, and prioritize delivery milestones.

Produce high-quality project artefacts including business cases, risk registers, governance packs, and status reports.

Apply Agile, Lean, and traditional project management methodologies to drive project outcomes and continuous improvement.

Manage project risks, issues, and escalations proactively, ensuring timely resolution and communication.

Provide leadership and mentorship to junior Project Managers, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Engage with clients and stakeholders at all levels, ensuring transparency, alignment, and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

What You’ll Bring

Proven experience delivering and leading complex ICT projects within MSP or enterprise environments.

Strong hands-on capability in project planning, scheduling, and resource management – not just oversight.

Demonstrated ability to navigate and manage projects within large, multi-layered customer environments.

Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and documentation skills.

Proficiency with the Microsoft technology stack – including SharePoint, Teams, Office, Visio – and familiarity with ConnectWise or similar PSA tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and adaptable approach.

Experience in leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior PMs.

Certifications in PMBOK (PMP), PRINCE2, Agile (Scrum Master, SAFe, etc.) are highly regarded.

Experience in cloud migration, cybersecurity, or infrastructure transformation projects.

Understanding of ITIL practices and service management principles.

Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
