JAVA Software Engineer FinTech (f/m/d)

Your mission

Join our dynamic team in revolutionizing the FinTech landscape! As a JAVA Software Engineer, you will develop software solutions that drive innovation and reliability in our payment processing systems. With your passion for translating customer requirements into elegant solutions and realizing them together with a highly motivated and ambitious team, you will be at the forefront of innovative FinTech solutions.

What you will do

  • Develop the backend for our SaaS payment platform's user portal.
  • Build and maintain web applications in collaboration with a cross-functional team, including frontend engineers, testers and product managers.
  • Understand and translate customer requirements into technical end-to-end solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards and support team members in best practices and coding guidelines.
  • Work within a distributed team, including nearshore developers, ensuring cohesive and efficient collaboration according to defined guidelines.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and proactively integrate them into the development process to continuously improve the product.

Your profile

  • Initiative and hands-on mentality in the development of software components.
  • Ability to quickly familiarize with new business and technology topics (like requirements, technologies).
  • Open to new technologies and willingness to continuously develop.
  • Ability to write good unit- & integration tests.
  • Capability to create structured code.
  • Cooperative, team-oriented way of working with openness for new things, high quality standards and a true service orientation.
  • English proficiency at a C1 level (native or near-native fluency). Other European languages are a plus.
  • Valid work permit for Austria and ability to work in the office near Vienna at least 2 days a week.

  • Competitive Compensation: Of course, you will receive a competitive compensation package, which we would be happy to discuss with you personally. For legal reasons, we must provide the gross annual salary, which is based on the collective agreement and is approximately EUR 43.000, - (based on full-time 38.5 hours per week). We are willing to offer more than this starting salary, depending on your experience and qualifications.
