If you are interested in shaping the future of the market leader in power semiconductors – listen up! We are looking for a technology development engineer who will drive innovations at the technology, device, and system level, shaping the next generations of High-Voltage Power MOSFETs as part of a global development team. Seize the opportunity for change and work at the pulse of technology!

In your new job, you will:

  1. Develop new voltage classes and broaden the functionality of existing products.
  2. Support the ramp-up and yield learning phase of new technology platforms like CoolMOS or CoolSiC alongside the process integration group.
  3. Collaborate closely with PSS production management, unit process, and process integration engineers at FAB Villach.
  4. Develop new MOSFET generations, defining features with TCAD and application experts.
  5. Define unit process requirements along the technology roadmap with process development engineers.
  6. Plan, coordinate, and evaluate process experiments, including statistical DoEs, ensuring process window.
  7. Implement improvements regarding cost, yield, and stability through change management processes and technology projects.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  1. A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Sciences, Physics, or a comparable field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in technology development or process integration.
  3. Sound knowledge of semiconductor process technology and device physics.
  4. Knowledge of statistics and design of experiments.
  5. Project management experience is an advantage.
  6. Knowledge of MOSFET technologies and Infineon’s product portfolio is a plus.
  7. Excellent English communication skills and ideally basic German skills or willingness to learn.

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience, and qualifications. In Austria, employment is in accordance with the collective agreement for electrical and electronics industry employees (Employment group H). The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year, with higher compensation depending on your expertise. For positions at our Kulim and Penang sites, a work permit approval from Malaysian authorities is required.
