Senior Researcher (m/f/x) for Cloud Native Security

Job Description

• Conduct independent research in the field of Cloud Native Security.
• Identify new research topics and develop prototypes.
• Define use cases and demos to connect research ideas with product components.
• Bridge academic research and commercial technology development by collaborating with security teams and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the global research community through publications and conference presentations.
• Participate in scientific and industrial cooperation projects.
• Guide PhD and master students in their career development.
• Assist the lead researcher in defining and prioritizing the research roadmap.

Research areas include:

• Threat and attack detection
• Vulnerability and risk analysis
• Security Posture Management (xSPM)
• Kubernetes and container security
• Automated adversary emulation

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience or expertise in relevant research topics.
• Good understanding of cyber and cloud security.
• Strong publication record.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting research results.
• Proficiency in English.
