Senior Project Manager (Shopfitting only)

About the Role:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will:

Oversee multiple live projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Direct and mentor a team of project managers, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment while ensuring professional growth and development.

Perform site assessments and regular visits to ensure all project specifications and safety standards are met.

Manage project challenges including defects, variations, and OH&S requirements.

Lead and direct all labor aspects, including scheduling and leadership of teams.

Monitor and control project budgets, schedules, and resources, implementing corrective actions when necessary to mitigate risks and avoid overruns.

Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders—clients, suppliers, trades—to ensure project objectives are met.

Utilize your experience to enhance processes and deliver high-quality outcomes.

About You:

You are a highly experienced senior project manager with a background in shopfitting, known for delivering projects that meet both time and budgetary constraints. You should possess:

Ideally up to 8 years’ experience in project management within the construction or retail fitout industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing other project managers.

Demonstrated track record of successful project delivery in the retail fitout sector

Exceptional relationship management and leadership skills.

Comprehensive knowledge of the end-to-end project management process, including handling variations and defects.

In-depth understanding of Australian Building Standards.
