Über die Rolle

As a Linux Specialist (m/f/x), you will contribute to the continuous development and secure operation of our system landscape. Your tasks include providing efficient HPC (High Performance Computing) systems and collaborating with other departments to optimize and support software development environments. Your expertise will be valuable to our international IT organization and will significantly enrich the European IT infrastructure team.

Deine Aufgaben

• Administration, configuration, and optimization of existing Linux systems (Debian, RedHat, Ubuntu, SLES)
• Further development and support of the system landscape for software development and HPC systems
• Support of 1st/2nd level support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution at 3rd level
• Participation and leadership in local and global IT projects
• Support of infrastructure operations including network/WAN/firewall/virtualization and server rooms
• Monitoring of IT infrastructure

Deine bevorzugten Qualifikationen

• Completed education (apprenticeship/HTL/FH/University) in computer science, information technology, system/network engineering, or similar
• Several years of experience in this field
• Advanced Linux knowledge
• Good scripting skills for operating Ansible
• Experience in networking basics, broad IT knowledge, cloud computing, virtualization, software development is desirable
• Good German and English skills

Entgelt

We offer a fair and attractive gross annual salary (based on 38.5 hours) according to the collective agreement of the automotive industry, starting at €70,000. Overpayment is possible depending on experience and qualifications.
