Execution Trader

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Execution Trader to research and monitor daily trading activity. The ideal candidate will be a mid-level professional with strong communication and collaboration skills as this role requires frequent interaction with traders, quants, and senior management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manage order flow and operate effectively within an electronic trading platform.
2. Maintain and upgrade existing spreadsheets and trading tools.
3. Work closely with the Operations team, brokers, and PBs to ensure accurate trade allocations and resolve breaks.
4. Monitor the behavior of execution algorithms and partner with quants and senior management to improve execution quality and reduce market impact.
5. Interact with brokers and bank dealing desks to source liquidity when necessary.
6. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned, such as ad hoc report generation.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum of 3 years of trading desk experience, preferably on the sell-side or within a multi-strategy hedge fund.
2. Proficiency in Excel VBA.
3. Familiarity with python is a plus but not required.
4. Knowledge in commodity, fixed income, FX, and macro markets.
5. Understanding of Order Management Systems and Execution Management Systems.
6. Familiarity with the mechanics and terminology of options, equities, and futures markets.
7. Excellent communication skills, a self-starter mentality, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt.
8. Strong analytical skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a positive attitude.

COMPENSATION

The all-inclusive salary for this position STARTS at EUR 95.000,00. Competitive and performance-based compensation package, depending upon qualifications.
