We are seeking a dedicated Deskside Support Engineer (L1) to join our team and provide essential on-site technical support for our client. This is a fantastic chance to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the smooth operation of IT services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line (L1) deskside support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems for end-users in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance and installations of IT equipment.
  • Assist with user account management and access rights.
  • Document support activities and solutions accurately.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Deskside Support or IT Helpdesk role (L1).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Must be currently residing in Austria.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written) and German (B2/C1 level mandatory).
  • A valid work permit allowing full-time employment in Austria is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
