Job Description:

  • Conduct research on circular material solutions, polymer recycling processes, and sustainable innovations.
  • Develop and evaluate new materials, formulations, and recycling techniques to improve plastic sustainability.
  • Monitor and interpret evolving regulations, industry standards, and sustainability policies affecting plastics and circular economy.
  • Assist in defining strategic approaches for customers to implement sustainable material solutions.
  • Engage with clients, industry associations, and stakeholders to promote circular economy strategies.
  • Assist in developing internal guidelines and best practices for sustainable material use and recycling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, sustainability, sales, and compliance) to align efforts.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on material sustainability and circular economy principles.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of plastics, polymers, and recycling processes is an advantage.
  • Ability to analyse material properties and sustainability impacts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and independent approach to work.
  • Fast comprehension and ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
  • Enthusiasm for developing new material solutions and advancing sustainability efforts.
