Our client, EGSTON Power Electronics, is a young, fast-growing company in the power electronics industry, focusing on developing and manufacturing high-performance Power Hardware-in-the-Loop (PHIL) test and emulation platforms for power electronic systems. Based in Klosterneuburg near Vienna, we are an international team passionate about cutting-edge technology and dedicated to developing innovative products while continuously improving through collaboration with customers, suppliers, and research facilities.

We are seeking a:

FIELD APPLICATION ENGINEER (M/W/D)

This position is based at the EGSTON Power Head Office in Klosterneuburg, Austria. As a customer-oriented engineer with excellent communication skills, you will identify customer needs, develop solutions, and demonstrate the benefits of our products, convincing customers of their value. You will act as a link between Sales and R&D to optimize product development.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical resource for customers from initial contact through project completion, providing on-site and remote support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Assist customers with system architecture, design-in support, and detailed product explanations to ensure successful integration.
• Collaborate with sales to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions to grow business.
• Identify sales opportunities, innovative applications, and technical solutions to enhance customer engagement.
• Work with internal teams to relay customer feedback, align project requirements, and contribute to product improvements and innovation.
• Conduct technical training and presentations for customers and internal teams, including technical documentation and competitive analysis.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
• Participate in conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows to promote the brand and network with industry stakeholders.

Candidate Profile:

• Degree in electrical engineering or similar, with a strong interest in technical challenges.
• Relevant experience as a field application engineer for demanding products.
• Knowledge of power electronics and test applications.
• Proficiency in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally and flexibility.

We offer an annual gross salary of at least €70,000, with the final amount depending on qualifications and experience, to be agreed upon individually.
